Health on the Go is a collaborative project between the cities of Brooklyn Center, Brooklyn Park, Brooklyn Bridge Alliance, Hennepin County Public Health, Northwest Hennepin Family Service Collaborative, ACER, and community leaders. Health on the Go! (HOTG) is a tiny home mobile unit deployed throughout both cities to help promote good health and positive wellbeing. The HOTG program serves as a bridge between community, public and culturally responsive health resources. We began our design work in September 2020 and piloted our first events in December 2020. In this session participants will learn how to identify partners, Health on the Go successes and failures, creating shared values, communication, engagement, and program evaluation of Health on the Go.
